BACK TO INTRODUCTION

There is a large body of evidence that we actually do reincarnate. A part of this evidence is given by regressions to hypothetical past lives. There are different possible explanations for what people experience in regressions. One is, of course, reincarnation. Many experiences could be explained as symbolical or cryptomnetic, but certainly not all of them! To day, a regression is usually performed without using hypnosis.

It has been discovered long ago that such a regression can be very helpful. Heavy problems like phobias, fears, blocks, negative patterns and so on found their solutions and didn't return. This remarkable effect is another piece of evidence for reincarnation (if it would all be fantasy, it could never have such an effect). This discovery led to the establishment of a new branch of alternative psychology, usually called «past-life therapy». This name is, however, not very good and it doesn't always apply to such therapeutic sessions, since many of them lead not only into past lives, but also into traumatic situations in the childhood in this life (out of which later psychological problems arose), or even during the time spent in the mother's belly. Some regressions even don't lead into past lives at all, but only into childhood situations and the prenatal period. Therefore, regression therapy is a more appropriate name.

PRINCIPLES OF REGRESSION THERAPY
Starting from a personal problem (fear, anxiety, phobia, patterns in reactions or behavior, a basic feeling of sadness, unclear feelings of guilt, problems with the parents, rejection of nearness, etc., and so on, and so forth… possibly also psychosomatically caused health problems) we seek the following:
Relive one or more essential causal situations in the past (which will then be more or less traumatic, «original trauma[ta]» of the actual problem). Become aware what happened then (and to day became forgotten through the new birth or suppressed as a childhood memory).
Become aware of the feelings in the situation (in principle for a moment going to the highest point of the actual emotion, but not «dwelling» in it; this can, however, be a bit prolonged if the client unconsciously resists); especially emotional feelings, but in certain cases also physical. Live through that situation, until it is over, in a past life we usually continue to just after the death experience.
After that: Go back to catch the negative emotional energies and take them to the «guide» and have them dissolved with his assistance. (This includes a spiritual plane and has certain relations to spiritual healing. The so called «guide» is our own unconscious self, here manifesting in a symbolical appearance.)
Check if some negative emotional energy is still there in the situation. Repeat the release process, if needed.
In the case of a victim experience: Uncover the karmic cause through re-experiencing the corresponding «perpetrator» life.
Uncover possible (usually unconscious) feelings of guilt from that life or other situations. These can normally also be released.
Realizing the connection: Experience then – problem to day, and: Victim experience – preceding perpetratorship (karma). The soul-injuring feelings belong there and are over, there is no need to have them still to day. Out of the context see the victim experience as a finished lesson and thus reconcile with one’s past.
Inner reconciliation with souls who then were our perpetrators or victims.
Reconciliation with oneself concerning past perpetratorship.
Replace all released negative emotional energies with light energy.
In certain cases: Reliving a corresponding positive situation, which occurred before the traumatic experience: Then there was no fear (or whatever else the problem involves), but one may even have enjoyed it; become conscious of the fact that it can be so to-day again in similar situations.
The release of negative emotional energies (or even energies of physical feelings) is usually remarkably effective, maybe because here something is also occurring on a spiritual level (which our official science doesn’t want to believe in).
The remarkable effect will indicate that we here really do reach the real causes of the problem. If there is reincarnation, after all, and if people can have problems which have there cause in previous existences, one will never reach the true cause if the reincarnation hypothesis is rejected.
As a German saying goes: Who cures is right…
ERRORS IN REGRESSIONS
One lets the person merely look at a trauma causing the problem, but nor relive the emotions (information without release).
One interrupts an emotional experience before it has been taken to its end and the emotional energy has been dissolved (sometimes because the regressionist fears not being able to handle the situation; this can make things worse).
One doesn’t understand the importance of reaching an effective release of negative emotional energies, or doesn’t know how to do it. (This can also make things worse.)
One lets the person cast the guilt on others, affirming the problem, instead of seeking reconciliation with the other souls involved (which is a part of the healing process).
One doesn’t let the person recognize the relation between a traumatic victim experience and a preceding own perpetratorship, so that the former can be understood as a lesson,
and if it is done, one conjures up feelings of guilt instead of self-reconciliation
or hidden feelings of guilt are not uncovered.
One gives up too quickly when there is resistance against the one’s own relief, or one doesn’t know how to overcome it.
